Information we require to complete your order
Most of the information we require, when you complete your order, is fairly straight forward. But due to internet fraud, we must ask you to include some extra details as follows:
-The card must be in your name. The use of someone else's card is not acceptable.
- The address used MUST be the registered card address, including post code for the specific credit/debit card you are using. (Our merchant account now requires house number and UK post codes as a security check).
- For the telephone number, please use a daytime number, so we can contact you in case of a query on your order.
- You may specify a different delivery address, if you wish to have the item delivered to your workplace.
- When you enter the card number, you will also be required to include the CVC number - which is the last three digits on the signature strip on the rear of the card. If you do not enter this, your order will not be processed.
Delivery charges to UK shipping addresses:
The price you pay when you complete the check-out procedure includes VAT and UK shipping costs.
Other Terms & Conditions for UK Customers
Refunds All items may be returned (post-paid) if found to be unsuitable, as long as any returned item is unused and has not been specially ordered for you as a special order item. If, at our sole discretion, we believe that a product has been used, then we reserve the right to either refuse a refund (in which case the product will be returned to you) or to charge a percentage 'restocking fee', which will deducted from any refunded amount.
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000
You have the right to cancel this contract for no reason at all and without penalty. However, we will only accept unwanted products for refund within 7 days of delivery, provided the goods are complete with all relevant packaging in an UNUSED condition.
If you wish to cancel the contract, please write to Unilet Sound and Vision, 35 High Street, NEW MALDEN, KT3 4BY. To cancel this contract you must give us notice within 7 working days starting on the day after the day you receive the goods. Alternatively, you may fax us on 020 8942 9567, stating your order number and cancellation instructions.
We shall refund the total amount of money paid for the goods, less any costs attributed to collecting the goods if required, within 30 days starting on the day we receive a notice of cancellation in writing from you.
We would remind you that once you have notified us of your intent to cancel the contract, there is a legal requirement for you to take good care of the goods. You must return the goods to us at your own expense to the address noted above. Ensure the goods are adequately insured for the return journey back to us as you are held to be responsible for their safe return.
If you have not returned the goods within 14 days of cancellation or if requested. we can arrange collection of the goods from you at your cost (which will be deducted from any refund due).
Note that none of these conditions affect your statutory rights, which shall be deemed to be those set in law within the United Kingdom.
Delivery charges to non-UK shipping addresses:
All shipping charges are based on the shipping weight of your entire order - and we recommend that we ship using an international carrier who can insure the goods during transit. As a result, shipping charges will be estimated to you once we have received your order.
If required, we can quote you shipping charges by non-insured, packet post service. However, while this may be cheaper, we cannot be held responsible for any claims arising from non-delivery, not can we offer any assistance to track any missing parcels. (Please note on your order form should you require non-insured carriage).
For this reason, we would suggest you accept our insured shipping service, which gives you added protection in the event of non-delivery.
